Uganda pilot

Understand the problem. Find the next step.

Describe a vehicle issue, review automated repair guidance, post a repair request, and connect with mechanics or parts sellers from one mobile-first platform.

Diagnostic guidance is informational and should be confirmed by a qualified technician before repairs or continued driving.

Available in the pilot

A focused set of tools for understanding vehicle problems and coordinating the next step.

01Vehicle diagnosis and repair guidance

Describe symptoms in plain language and review likely causes, safety guidance, recommended actions, and supporting cost notes when benchmark data exists.

02Repair requests and mechanic bids

Drivers and sellers can post repair needs. Mechanics can review the vehicle context, send a bid, and track whether it is accepted, declined, or cancelled.

03Seller-owned parts listings

Browse listings published by parts sellers, save useful items, add them to a cart, and contact the seller using the details they provide.

04Vehicle and road activity records

Keep vehicle details, maintenance information, emergency information, community hazard reports, saved diagnoses, and marketplace activity together.

From symptom to a practical next step

The pilot keeps the driver in control while making vehicle information easier to understand and share.

  1. 01

Describe what the vehicle is doing

Select a saved vehicle and explain the sound, warning light, driving behaviour, or other symptom in your own words.

  2. 02

    Review the automated guidance

Read the likely issue, safety level, explanation, and recommended actions. Treat the result as guidance, not a final mechanical inspection.

  3. 03

    Choose how to continue

Save the diagnosis, look for a mechanic or seller, or turn the useful details into a repair request you control.

  4. 04

    Coordinate directly in the pilot

Compare mechanic bids or seller listings, review profiles and feedback, and contact the provider that fits your needs.

Three account types

One shared repair network

Each role gets the tools it needs without pretending every user should have the same permissions.

Request the right access

Drivers

Understand vehicle symptoms, manage vehicles, save diagnoses, report hazards, browse providers, and post repair requests.

Your diagnosis and vehicle data remain tied to your account.

Mechanics

Run diagnoses, maintain a workshop profile, publish services, review nearby repair requests, submit bids, and manage bid outcomes.

Mechanics can review sellers; drivers and sellers can review mechanics.

Parts sellers

Maintain a store profile, publish seller-owned inventory, receive marketplace interest, and post repair requests for business vehicles.

Sellers can review mechanics; drivers and mechanics can review sellers.
